On This Work

Mediums have changed for the communication of information and the distribution of knowledge since the dawn of recorded history. From cave-paintings to clay tablets, from papyrus to the printing press, the way we’ve engaged with the totality of knowledge in the world has evolved, and new, interesting, and creative ideas have oftentimes flourished from new technologies.

Formerly, authors wrote books printed on paper, bound together with a leather cover or some such. I find this more organic medium still quite enjoyable, but alas, also feel that the future is now, so rather than seeking a publisher, I figured I would use the Medium platform to publish a longer work, complete with chapters and sections.

Feel free to bookmark this and come back to it due to its length, if you enjoy the work. I will include a chapter numbering system so readers can save their place and return to the work at their leisure.

Without further ado, here is The Psychology of Fascism.

Firstly, I had to rid myself of all of my preconceived notions of what I had thought that fascism is, in order that I may take in what the movement really had to say for…

Bravo. We and our political leaders too often think in terms of strategy. I groan when I encounter article after article in which pollsters and strategists consider the “right” and “wrong” ways to combat degrading politics and power structure — or…

I can’t thank you enough for this! I’ve been hearing the word “fascist” or “fascism” my entire life, but have never really known what it actually meant.
It seems to only be used as a catch-all insult, or by people who use it in such an emotionally…
